Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool are reportedly both monitoring the 15-year-old cousin of Daniel Sturridge.
Tottenham and Liverpool have been alerted to the form of Bristol City’s 15-year-old striker Prince Henry, according to a report from The Sun on Sunday (3/3; page 61).
Henry has enjoyed a superb season with the Robins’s youth sides, scoring more than 20 goals for the under-16s and under-18s this term. Unsurprisingly, his form has attracted attention.
The Sun on Sunday (3/3; page 61) reports that both Spurs and the Reds are interested in approaching the Championship side over a potential move for the forward, who is the cousin of Daniel Sturridge.
Bristol City will certainly be hoping that Henry decides to reject any interest and stay at Ashton Gate for the foreseeable future. Lee Johnson has not been afraid to put a lot of faith in his younger players, and that faith has helped turn the Robins into a team that often finds itself around the play-off places in the Championship.
Henry may be some way off making his first-team debut, but his current club will point out that the pathway is clearly there for him.
But Spurs and Liverpool are two of the Premier League sides that have a fantastic record when it comes to using younger players within their first-team. And it will be interesting to see if Henry decides to pick Sturridge’s brains before potentially making his next move.
