According to Takvim, Fenerbahce are interested in signing Ryan Sessegnon and Jean-Philippe Gbamin from Tottenham and Everton respectively.
What’s the story?
Well, the Turkish giants are keen to sign the duo from Spurs and Everton, as they look to bolster their squad in January.
Takvim mention that Fenerbahce tried to sign Sessegnon over the summer, with Vitor Pereira a huge fan of the man who cost Spurs £25m.
The Turkish news outlet adds that Fenerbahce have scouts monitoring the pair when possible, as a double raid on the Premier League is plotted.
Gbamin has found chances hard to come by since joining Everton from Mainz 05 in 2019, in a deal worth £25m.
That has not been the fault of Everton, but mainly due to a string of injury problems which have haunted the Ivorian’s time on Merseyside.
What should Tottenham and Everton do?

In Everton and Gbamin’s case, we see no reason why Rafa Benitez should keep him at Goodison Park.
Match experience is a big part of regaining full fitness, and as hard as Gbamin may work at Finch Farm, he needs to play football.
With Abdoulaye Doucoure and Allan ahead of him, it feels unlikely Benitez will select him even when he is fit.
In Tottenham and Sessegnon’s case, Nuno Espirito Santo must find a way to work the ex-Fulham man into his team.

The 21-year-old hasn’t kicked a ball in the Premier League this season, and has only featured in Tottenham’s two UEFA Conference League qualifiers.
Sessegnon is a true wonderkid, and needs to play.
If that means he has to join Fenerbahce on loan for a few months, then so be it – at his age, he needs to be playing to continue his development.
