Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in Bruno Fernandes of Sporting Lisbon.

It has been reported that Tottenham initially made a bid of £41 million for Fernandes, and the North London outfit then increased their offer to £46m plus a further £9.1m of bonuses.
The report has also claimed that Sporting have told the 24-year-old Portugal international midfielder that he will be allowed to leave this summer for a transfer fee of £55m plus performance-related add-ons.

Meanwhile, Fernandes has posted an emotional message on Instagram ahead of what could be his final game for Sporting on Sunday.
Sporting will take on Benfica in the Portuguese Super Cup this evening, and ahead of the game, the midfielder has thanked those who have helped him get ready for the season ahead.

Fernandes wrote on Instagram, as translated by The Express: Pre season is over … the competition will start!
“Three weeks of intensive training with my teammates, but it all started long before I entered this season in the best way and at maximum strength!

According to WhoScored, Fernandes made 33 appearances in the Portuguese league for Sporting last season, scoring 20 goals and providing 13 assists in the process.
The midfielder made eight appearances in the Europa League for Sporting during the 2018-19 campaign, scoring three goals and providing one assist in the process, according to WhoScored.
