Aston Villa Sporting Director, Johan Lange, has been ‘encouraged’ by the possibility of signing Arsenal’s Emile Smith Rowe, according to a report.
Birmingham Live have claimed that Arsenal’s creative talent has been ‘blown away’ by Villa’s interest in his services.
In one of the surprise transfer talks of the summer, Smith Rowe may well swap the colours of his boyhood club to signing for the Midlands giants.
Over a month ago, such a rumour about Villa signing Smith Rowe probably wasn’t taken seriously by supporters.
But as it drags on, Villa are seemingly readying a third bid for the player, he hasn’t signed a contract yet, so things are getting interesting on that front now.
If Smith Rowe was sold by Arsenal then it would cause utter chaos from their supporters because they are selling one of their talented stars.
This Arsenal team needs revamping and refreshing, not one of their best talents being sold as soon as the right amount of money is put on the table.
