Celtic midfielder Tom Rogic could now look to move to another club in Europe, according to The Scottish Sun.

It has been reported that talks regarding the Celtic midfielder and a move to the Middle East have stalled.

The Australia international is having second thoughts about a £4 million move to Qatar, according to the report, which has added that the 27-year-old ‘could now hold out for a move to another European club’.

Celtic stay?

Celtic have recently signed David Turnbull from Scottish Premiership rivals Motherwell.

Manager Neil Lennon is well stocked in midfield, and Rogic will find it hard to get into the Hoops’ starting lineup on a regular basis this season.

However, the Australian is a very experienced footballer who has played a big role in the success of the Glasgow giants over the years, and if he stays at Celtic Park, then it will enhance the Hoops’ chances of winning the Scottish Premiership title for the 10th season in a row.

Celtic exit?

However, if Rogic is not going to get much playing time at Celtic, then one can understand him trying to move to a club in Europe.

The Australian is still a very good player who would be brilliant for a top club in a domestic league in mainland Europe.
