De Bock has struggled since his January move to Leeds.
Leeds United defender Laurens De Bock has struggled at Elland Road since his January move from Club Brugge, and now Belgian outlet Voetbal 24 claim his future in Yorkshire could be as good as over.
The report states that “it does not look good” for De Bock in regards to his future, who was left at home instead of being included in the 22-man squad to travel to Myanmar last week.
Despite being a prominent member in Brugge’s side that saw them face Leicester City, Porto and FC Copenhagen in the Champions League last season, De Bock has managed just seven appearances for Leeds this season – a total of 630 minutes.
Felix Wiedwald, Eunan O’Kane, Gaetano Berardi, Kemar Roofe, Laurens De Bock and Hadi Sacko were all absent along with De Bock from the trip to South Asia.
The emergence of Tom Pearce, and the form of Tyler Denton in Myanmar may have pushed De Bock down the pecking order. But the report claims it is Leeds’ interest in Kristian Pederson that could end De Bock’s spell at Elland Road.
German newspaper Bild claimed Leeds want the Union Berlin defender this summer, with left-back likely to be seen as a position that needs improving.
Adding Pedersen to his options, Heckingbottom can surely do without 25-year-old De Bock this summer who is believed to have cost the Whites £1.5million in January.
