Arsenal’s Reiss Nelson is set to join in with training next week, according to Football London.
Nelson is currently nursing a groin injury, and didn’t feature for Arsenal in their match against Aston Villa on Tuesday.
There were concerns that Nelson could miss the FA Cup final, in what would have been a blow to Mikel Arteta’s side.
However, the 20-year-old forward is said to be confident of winning his race to be fit for the big occasion.
Nelson is now expected to join in with Arsenal training from the start of next week, as he looks to prove he is ready to play a role at Wembley.
Nelson’s availability will be a big boost to Arteta, who is a fan of the prospect’s ability.
Although Nelson’s best chance of getting on the pitch may be as a substitute, the Arsenal forward could well be afforded game-time, if the Gunners do need a goal.
Arteta has real belief in Nelson’s ability, and seems to be determined to ensure that the England youth international goes on to fulfil his potential.

“We have pace in a few players up front, and Reiss [Nelson] is a special player and can eliminate players one on one,” said the boss,” Arteta told TalkSPORT back in March.
Nelson has played 23 games for Arsenal across all competitions this term, and he will now be hoping to add to that tally before the end of the campaign.
