Southampton winger Dusan Tadic is wanted by Champions League semi-finalists AS Roma, according to the Daily Mirror (April 13th, page 54).

And the report claims Tadic is keen to leave St Mary’s, where he has spent the last four campaigns.

A move to Roma – who shocked Barcelona on Tuesday – would have obvious appeal to Tadic, especially with Aleksandar Kolarov, his Serbia colleague, already on the books at the Stadio Olimpico.

Tadic has scored or assisted 56 goals in 153 Southampton appearances, but has been unable to prevent this season’s fight against relegation.

The Saints sit three points adrift of safety with six games still to play, although they have played one less than the two teams directly above them.

It remains to be seen what impact the club’s survival would have on the future of Tadic, who has two years left on his deal at Southampton.

Should Southampton offload Tadic regardless this summer?
