Promes is said to have agreed a move to Southampton in January.

Southampton will revive their interest in Spartak Moscow winger Quincy Promes once their Premier League survival is confirmed, according to the Sun (Mat 11th, Goals page 4).
The report claims Promes agreed a £35 million move to Saints on deadline day in January, but the deal fell through as Spartak failed to find a replacement in time.
But it appears Southampton are ready to try again, with their top flight status all but preserved.

Mark Hughes’ side only need a point against champions Manchester City to guarantee their place in next season’s competition, but should stay up regardless as a result of their superior goal difference.
Dutchman Promes has scored 21 goals in 37 games for Spartak, who are aiming to secure a second-place finish when they face rivals Dynamo Moscow on Sunday.

The Sun reported on Thursday (May 10th, page 54) that Hughes will also target reunions with Stoke City pair Xherdan Shaqiri and Joe Allen if he keeps Southampton up.
