The Southampton hitman reportedly could be set for a January exit from St Mary’s.

According to a report from Goal in Italy, Southampton are demanding somewhere between €10-13 million (£9-11.7 million) for Manolo Gabbiadini this month, as Fiorentina continue to court the striker.

The 27-year-old joined the Saints from Napoli in January 2017, for a fee believed to be worth in the region of £14.6 million, and he has gone on to score 12 goals in 60 appearances in all competitions for the south coast outfit.

The Italian doesn’t seem to feature in Ralph Hasenhüttl’s plans, however, with the Austrian preferring Danny Ings, Charlie Austin and Shane Long through the middle thus far.

And now Goal in Italy are claiming that Southampton are willing to sell Gabbiadini, but only if they receive around £11.7 million for his services.

The 27-year-old has failed to establish himself in the Premier League, so if Southampton do manage to get around £11.7 million for him this month, it would have to be considered as good business for Hasenhüttl’s side.
