Cardiff City and Crystal Palace are reportedly interested in signing the Southampton ace.

According to a report from Sky Sports (deadline day blog, 13:04), Southampton have rejected four separate loan proposals for Charlie Austin, and they are only willing to sell the striker on a permanent deal.
The 29-year-old joined the Saints in January 2016, for a fee believed to be worth somewhere in the region of £4 million, and he has gone on to score 20 goals in 72 appearances in all competitions for the south coast outfit.
A whole host of Premier League clubs are believed to be interested in signing the Southampton hitman, with the Sun reporting that Cardiff City and Crystal Palace are among the clubs chasing him.

Sky Sports claim that he will not be leaving St Mary’s this month unless it is on a permanent deal.
They suggest that Southampton have rejected four loan bids, all from Premier League clubs for Austin, so as things stand, the situation seems to be at somewhat of an impasse.
