Premier League duo Everton and Southampton have reportedly been scouting Che Adams after he scored 22 Championship goals at Birmingham City.

Everton will have to make a decision about Che Adams very quickly with The Telegraph reporting that the Birmingham City striker is ‘poised’ to sign for Southampton in a £14 million summer deal.
The transfer window is already shaping up to be a miserable one at St Andrew’s. Birmingham have already sold star winger Jota to bitter rivals Aston Villa in a hugely controversial move and top scorer Adams, who netted 22 goals for Garry Monk’s side last season, is also expected to leave.
The former Sheffield United forward has been linked with plenty of Premier League clubs over the last few months and reports suggest that Southampton are now out on their own as the clear front-runners.
The Saints struggled for goals during a difficult 2018/19 and The Telegraph claims that Adams could be heading to St Mary’s for £14 million. Blessed with pace, power and a clinical finish, the 22-year-old should really enhance a rather one-paced Southampton strikeforce.

And now the ball is in Everton’s court with Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side showing their hand.
Everton are apparently yet to decide whether or not they want to sign a striker who has been frequently scouted by The Toffees in recent months.
Marco Silva’s side appear to be one top class centre-forward away from challenging for a place in the top six but Adams, a converted winger who has never played Premier League football, would represent a substantial, and expensive, risk.
