Southampton are reportedly keen on Genk defender Omar Colley.
According to The Sun, Southampton are interested in signing Genk defender Omar Colley as he looks for more options at the back.
The Saints have arguably the best central defensive partnership in the Premier League, with veteran Jose Fonte and Dutchman Virgil van Dijk proving to be simply superb.

However, manager Claude Puel may be keen to bring in some added cover for both players, who will no doubt be attracting interest from some Premier League rivals.
Southampton do have some cover; Japanese centre back Maya Yoshida hasn’t really proven himself as a Premier League defender, whilst Florin Gardos has struggled with injuries since the summer of 2015.

The Saints should now be looking for another centre back, and The Sun claim that Genk defender Omar Colley has become a target for Puel’s men.
Colley, 24, had been making his name in Scandinavia with Finnish side KuPS and Swedish outfit Djurgardens, and made his big move to Belgium with Genk over the summer.

The Gambian international has quickly become a vital first-team player for Genk, and it’s believed that his performances in the Europa League have now caught Southampton’s attention.
A huge 6ft 3in centre back with great strength, Colley has ten caps for Gambia, and would bring some more depth to the Southampton defence should Puel and the Saints make a move for him in January, just months after he left Djurgardens for Genk.
