Southampton have reportedly beaten Tottenham Hotspur to the signing of Alexandre Jankewitz.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Southampton have beaten Tottenham Hotspur to the signing of Servette midfielder Alexandre Jankewitz in a £1.35million deal.
The Saints did most of their summer business early having landed Angus Gunn, Jannik Vestergaard, Stuart Armstrong and Mohamed Elyounoussi, but Mark Hughes did striker on deadline day to land Danny Ings from Liverpool.
Fans maybe wanted a couple more signings, especially as the 0-0 draw with Burnley to open the campaign did show some deficiencies, and it seems that the Saints have secured one more addition.
Tuttomercatoweb report that Southampton have won the race for Servette teenager Alexandre Jankewitz, securing his services in a deal worth €1.5million (£1.35million).
It’s claimed that Southampton have finalised a move with the midfielder, beating Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United and Juventus to the youngster’s signature.
Jankewitz, 16, already has 13 caps for Switzerland at under-16 and under-17 levels, operating as a versatile central midfielder having played defensively, centrally and even in attacking midfield.

Jankewitz doesn’t turn 17 until Christmas Day, but has decided to commit his future to Southampton despite interest from three Champions League clubs.
The teenager may remind many of another former Servette prospect in Denis Zakaria, hence huge interest in his services – and whilst Spurs will be disappointed to miss out, Southampton will be celebrating a major coup.
