Southampton are said to want Kostic to replace another Serbian winger, Dusan Tadic.

Southampton have moved a step closer to signing Filip Kostic from Hamburg, according to the Daily Mirror (July 28, page 64)

.
The newspaper reports that one of the German club’s investors has told them to sell.
It is claimed that Klaus-Michael Kuehne loaned them the money to buy Kostic, which he now wants back after last season’s relegation from the Bundesliga.
Southampton are said to want Kostic to replace another Serbian winger, Dusan Tadic, at St Mary’s.

Although, the latest development follows reports earlier this week that Southampton would have to move on players of their own before they can turn to Kostic.
And it remains to be seen whether or not that remains the case, after Jordy Clasie’s loan move to Feyenoord on Wednesday.
Kostic scored five goals and set up one for Hamburg in the league last season.
Would Kostic be a good replacement for Tadic at Southampton?
