Southampton are reportedly looking to win the race for Hungarian ace Adam Nagy.

According to French newspaper L’Equipe, Southampton are in advanced talks to sign Ferencvaros midfielder Adam Nagy amid interest from Marseille and Benfica.
The Saints have appointed Frenchman Claude Puel as their new manager following Ronald Koeman’s move to Everton, and they’re now expected to make more moves in the transfer market.
June saw the club snap up winger Nathan Redmond from Norwich City, but also lose star players Sadio Mane and Victor Wanyama to Liverpool and Tottenham respectively.
Whilst Redmond could replace Mane, another midfielder will be needed to fill the void left by Wanyama – and they appear to be making a firm move for one of Euro 2016’s brightest stars.
French newspaper L’Equipe report that Southampton are in advanced talks to sign Ferencvaros midfielder Adam Nagy, who has also attracted interest from Marseille and Benfica.
Nagy, 21, has been emerging as one of Hungary’s top young players, and impressed for the Hungarian national team at this summer’s European Championships in France.
Nagy is primarily a defensive midfielder, impressing with his tenacity and ability to protect the back four – attributes which will be vital in attempting to replace Wanyama.
It’s unclear just how much Southampton will be paying for Nagy, but a deal appears to be in the pipeline, possibly giving Southampton another young player with great potential to work with.
