West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper Ben Foster is reportedly wanted by Southampton and Stoke City.

According to The Sun, West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper Ben Foster could be targeted by both Southampton and Stoke City if the Baggies suffer relegation.
The Baggies lost 1-0 at Watford on Saturday afternoon to remain bottom of the Premier League table, eight points adrift of safety as Alan Pardew’s men look set for relegation.
Relegation to the Championship would almost certainly result in losing a host of players, and goalkeeper Foster appears to have admirers already ahead of the summer transfer window.

It’s claimed that Southampton and Stoke City are both interested in signing Foster should he suffer relegation – and if the two clubs stay in the Premier League themselves.
Foster over Forster?
Southampton have been fairly settled in goal in recent years, but the poor form of Fraser Forster means Alex McCarthy has featured recently.

Forster may now find added competition if Southampton push to land Foster, with the 34-year-old possessing vast Premier League experience to immediately come into the side if needed.
The former England international may be approaching the end of his career, but he has been first-choice for West Brom for some time now, and could offer Southampton another option.
Stoke may lose Jack Butland this summer, and Foster could be lined up as a successor, even if Potters fans may be somewhat underwhelmed by such an addition.
