The Southampton ace could be set for an exit from St Mary’s.

According to a report from the Independent, Southampton are prepared to listen to offers for right-back Cedric Soares this month.
The 27-year-old joined the Saints from Sporting Lisbon in the summer of 2015, for a fee believed to be worth in the region of £4.7 million, and he has gone on to make 116 appearances for the south coast club.
Ralph Hasenhüttl is obviously keen to freshen up his squad at St Mary’s, but it seems as though he will have to shift a few players on, before bringing in any new faces.
Cedric is a consistent performer, and he has appeared in 16 of Southampton’s 21 Premier League games so far, but judging by the report from the Independent, Hasenhüttl has not been overly impressed with what he has seen so far.

The Saints are currently in a whole world of trouble, and sit in 18th spot in the Premier League table, so allowing the 33-capped Portugal international to leave seems like a strange decision.
The Southampton boss obviously has targets in mind, however, and he will be judged on where his team finish come the end of the season.
