Southampton, Crystal Palace and Sheffield United are reportedly interested in Brentford’s Ollie Watkins.

According to the report, Southampton are long-term admirers of Watkins and will revisit their interest this summer.
Palace are keen on the 23-year-old, who can operate as a forward or as an attacking midfielder, according to the report, which has credited United – who will play in the Premier League next season after clinching automatic promotion from the Championship – with interest in the youngster.
Stats
Watkins has been on the books of Brentford since the summer of 2017 when he joined from Exeter City for a transfer fee reported by Devon Live to be worth £1.8 million.

The 23-year-old is one of the best players in the Championship, and it will make sense for him to take the next step in his career and move to a club in the Premier League.
According to WhoScored, Watkins made 35 starts and six substitute appearances in the Championship for Brentford this season, scoring 10 goals and providing six assists in the process.
