Southampton and Crystal Palace are among the Premier League sides keen on signing Edin Dzeko.

Dzeko opened the door for a potential return three years after he left Manchester City to join Roma. And it appears that a number of teams are keen on making a move in the future.
It is not clear whether Dzeko would have any interest in joining in any of the trio. He is playing regularly with Roma, having scored five goals in nine Serie A and Champions League appearances this term, so joining one of the Premier League’s bottom seven hardly seems to be an opportunity that captures the imagination.

Southampton and Palace certainly have the potential to do considerably better than they are currently doing, and they would argue that they would be significantly higher in the table with more quality up front, with the pair scoring just 11 top flight goals between them this term.
Nevertheless, with Dzeko boasting an impressive record throughout his career – he has scored over 260 goals in all competitions – and still playing in Europe’s premier competition, he would be forgiven for having his sights set higher if he is going to come back to the Premier League anytime soon.
