Departure likely?

It does seem that Armstrong is set to leave Celtic for Southampton in the summer transfer window.

The midfielder has proved to be a very good player for the Hoops, but perhaps it is time for the club and the player to part company.

Joining Southampton would allow Armstrong to showcase his quality in the Premier League, while Celtic would bank a tidy fee of £7m.

This latest (reported) development, though, will come as a blow to a number of other clubs in the Premier League.

According to The Daily Record, Crystal Palace, Brighton and Hove Albion and West Bromwich Albion are interested in Armstrong.
