According to the Daily Star, West Ham United signing Youssef En-Nesyri from Sevilla this summer is deemed ‘highly unlikely’.

The Hammers made a £27million bid for En-Nesyri in the January window, but Sevilla stood firm and said no.

The Daily Star noted that West Ham were preparing a new package worth £32million for En-Nesyri, but no January deal was done.

Eurosport now claim that sources in Spain believe a deal won’t happen this summer either, with a move described as being ‘extremely unlikely’.

En-Nesyri is becoming more and more important for Sevilla, so they have little interest in allowing him to leave this summer.

The Moroccan star, 23, has smashed 13 goals in 21 La Liga games this season, as well as four goals in six Champions League outings as he enjoys a dream campaign.

Formerly of Malaga and Leganes, En-Nesyri is now becoming a star for Sevilla, and West Ham may well have missed the boat on him now.

With nine goals in his last 10 games, En-Nesyri’s price tag is only on the rise – and West Ham could be priced out as they seek a replacement for Sebastien Haller.
