Aston Villa have had Nahki Wells on their radar for some time, but Queens Park Rangers were allowed to sign the forward on loan.

Wells joined QPR on loan from Huddersfield Town last week, with Villa failing to make a move for the forward.
Wells had been on Villa’s radar for a considerable amount of time, but Bruce decided against going for the rapid forward this time around.
And that may just suggest that he has other irons in the fire, as Villa chase a new striker.

Indeed, many people close to Bruce were reportedly expecting him to make a move for Wells, to give QPR some competition for his signature.
However, Villa seem distracted by other potential additions at the moment, as they look to increase the quality of their forward line.
Villa have been heavily linked with Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham in recent times, but doing a deal for the powerful forward appears to be difficult.
