Leeds United, Sunderland, Nottingham Forest and Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in signing Harrison Webster from Hartlepool United in the summer transfer window, according to TEAMtalk.

Webster spent time on trial at Wolves last season, and the Wanderers have reportedly reignited their interest in the 17-year-old left-sided defender.

The Premier League club are keen on reopening discussions over a deal this summer, according to the report, which has claimed that sources have said that Leeds are “big fans” of the player they also had training with them.

Sunderland, Forest, Bristol City and Burnley are also considering making offers to Webster, who is out of contract at Hartlepool this summer, according to the report.

Big move

With so much reported interest in Webster, it seems unlikely that he will stay any longer at Hartlepool, who are playing in the National League.

A move to Leeds, Sunderland, Wolves or other clubs would be massive for Webster, and he has to choose a team where he would progress and develop the most.

Leeds have a very good youth academy, and the teenager could progress to the senior side in a year or two if he did well for the youth teams.
