According to The Telegraph, some of Harry Kane’s England teammates believe he may take a drastic measure in order to force a move amid links to Manchester City.
It’s no secret that Kane is keen to leave Tottenham this summer, and now some England players believe he may try to force a move by not turning up to training.
It’s hard to believe that Kane would do this to his boyhood club, especially as he’s always operated with a high degree of professionalism, but this is indicative of just how bad things have gotten at Spurs.
Kane has a bit of time off after Euro 2020, but his teammates reportedly believe that he may not report back to training in order to get out of north London.
Usually, you’d write this story off as absolute nonsense, especially when it’s about a player like Kane, but when The Telegraph and Matt Law, a journalist with proven links to players within the England camp, are writing these things, then you have to sit up and take notice.
Of course, whether or not these England players’ theories ring true or not remains to be seen, but if Kane was giving out that sort of message on international duty, then he may not be a Spurs player for much longer.
