Aston Villa boss Dean Smith has no interest in selling Trezeguet this summer, according to the Express and Star.
Trezeguet had a mixed first season in English football, but did prove his worth to Villa towards the end of the campaign.
The Egyptian scored the winner for Villa, as they beat Arsenal 1-0, in their penultimate game of the campaign.
That turned out to be arguably the most crucial win that Villa picked up, as Smith’s side narrowly escaped the drop.
Trezeguet has actually been linked with a move away from Villa Park heading into the summer transfer window.
However, the 25-year-old looks set to stay at Villa, as Smith apparently has no wish to offload him.

Villa will want to strengthen in attack in the coming weeks, so Trezeguet will face fiercer competition for a first-team place next term.
But he will surely be hoping to build on a promising debut campaign in the Midlands, where he netted six goals and claimed two assists in the Premier League.
