Tottenham Hotspur value Milan Skriniar at only half of Inter Milan’s asking price, Sky Sports report.

Tottenham have been in discussions to sign Skriniar recently, with clubs chiefs holding a meeting out in Milan.

But it seems that Tottenham still have some way to go before they agree a deal for the central defender.

Sky have been told that Tottenham only value Skriniar at £27.5 million, with Inter looking to raise £55 million for the 25-year-old.

Spurs now have some serious negotiation work to do if they are to land Skriniar.

Spurs do have good links with Inter, after only recently selling them Christian Eriksen, but whether that will put them in good stead for this deal remains to be seen.

If Tottenham can bring in the Slovakian, he could be a wonderful addition to their backline.

Spurs already have Toby Alderweireld, Davinson Sanchez and Eric Dier at the club, but Jose Mourinho doesn’t seem set on a central defensive pairing, and Skriniar’s arrival could really help them to tighten up at the back.
