Report: Sky share Lennon’s transfer plan at Celtic, as he eyes up three signings

Celtic are pressing to make three more signings this summer, Sky claim.

Celtic boss Neil Lennon wants a left-back, a central defender and a winger to complete his squad.

The signing of a left sided defender has been made Celtic’s priority, but they have been frustrated in their pursuit of new players so far.

PSG’s Mitchel Bakker has turned down the chance to move to the Bhoys, and they may now have to turn to alternative targets.

Once Lennon’s side have brought in a left-back, Sky suggest that they could then press ahead with plans to bring in a central defender and a winger.

Celtic have already landed Shane Duffy, but Lennon apparently wants one more player to complete his defensive set-up.

A new winger, meanwhile, would make Celtic more of an attacking threat – but he would face a real fight for a place in their starting line-up, with the likes of James Forrest and Mo Elyounoussi already at the club.
