Newcastle United and Everton are listed as admirers of Bertrand Traore, who could leave Lyon this summer, according to Sky Sports.
Lyon are apparently ‘prepared to sell’ the rapid winger, who cost them £9 million to buy back in 2017 (Sky).
Sky don’t say just how much money Lyon are hoping to raise from Traore’s departure, but they do insist that Newcastle and Everton both have eyes on signing him.
If Traore was to arrive at Newcastle or Everton he would inject serious pace into their starting line-up.
The wide-man is a threat because of his speed, which makes him one of the fastest players in Ligue 1.

Traore struggled to hold down a place in Lyon’s starting line-up last term though, and only scored one goal while claiming three assists.
If he was to work out at either Newcastle or Everton he would surely have to improve on those figures.
He could fit Newcastle’s style particularly well, as Steve Bruce has liked to play on the break, and his speed would help to make the Magpies an even bigger threat on the counter.
