West Ham United’s deal for Vladimir Coufal has been months in the making, Sky Sports report.
Coufal has now flown to England and is expected to undergo at medical at West Ham later today.
But the latest report suggest that negotiations for the Slavia Prague full-back has been far from straight forward.
West Ham have actually been interested in Coufal for months, but have struggled to agree a fee.
The Hammers have now settled on paying around £5 million for the Czech Republic international, and they will hope that he can be as successful as Tomas Soucek.

West Ham bought Soucek from Slavia Prague earlier this year, and he has gone on to become a key player at the London Stadium.
If Coufal can impress at West Ham then there definitely is a route into David Moyes’ first-team available to him.
Ryan Fredericks has failed to convince at right-back, and West Ham will be hoping that Coufal’s arrival can help them tighten up in defence over the remainder of the campaign.
