Bertrand Traore is still waiting for his move to Aston Villa to go through, Sky claim.
Villa have agreed a £17 million move with Lyon for the forward, as Dean Smith’s side press on with strengthening their attacking ranks.
Traore’s move to Villa was expected to have gone through already, but the claret and blues have encountered complications recently.
Traore’s work permit application has been delayed, but Sky insist that there is no danger of the deal falling through.
The report instead suggests that Traore is simply waiting in the wings, as he eagerly anticipates his transfer being green-lighted.

When Traore does arrive he will add speed to Villa’s attack and could help them have an even greater goal threat this term.
Villa have already brought in Ollie Watkins, who scored on his competitive debut, and the hope is that Smith’s side can prove more of a threat to opposition defences this time around, as they look to avoid relegation more comfortably.
