According to The Sun, Nicky Butt is open to a coaching role at Celtic after leaving Manchester United.
Butt recently left Premier League giants United after nine years as a coach and then head of first-team development and reportedly fancies becoming the assistant manager to Roy Keane at Celtic.
Former United and Celtic midfielder Keane wants to become the new manager of the Hoops, according to the report, which has added that talks between him and the club have already taken place.
Blockbuster managerial appointment
Keane is one of the most decorated players in the game, while Butt was a serial winner as a player.
The 46-year-old won the Premier League title six times, the FA Cup thrice and the Champions League once with United.

The former England international midfielder has a wealth of experience in coaching, and he could complement Keane well, especially with the two having played with each other.
With Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard in charge of Rangers at the moment, the appointment of Keane and Butt as number one and number two respectively by Celtic would be box office for Scottish football.
