Valencia have joined the ever-growing queue of clubs keen to snap up Arsenal wonder-kid Bukayo Saka, with AllNigeriaSoccer reporting that the La Liga giants sent their top scout to watch the winger in action.
Eight years ago, the Gunners were forced to cash in on talisman and top-scorer Robin van Persie with the Dutchman’s contract set to expire just 12 months later. And it seems that Arsenal have found themselves similarly lodged between a rock and the proverbial hard place heading into the summer of 2020.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is not the only Emirates favourite who is due to become a free agent in 14 months after all.
Try as they might, Arsenal have been unable to tie teen sensation Saka down to a new, long-term deal. And that has not gone unnoticed across Europe.
AllNigeriaSoccer reports that Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are all keen on the Arsenal academy graduate, who has more assists this season (nine) than anyone else in Arteta’s squad.

A move to Spain cannot be discounted either. Valencia sent their top talentspotter to watch Saka in action as the England u19s thrashed Montenegro 5-0 in November, with Saka getting on the scoresheet during the most routine of routs.
Valencia have history when it comes to signing players from Arsenal. Could Saka join Gabriel Paulista and Francis Coquelin in the bubbling cauldron that is the Mestalla?
