Sunderland have reportedly put Preston North End boss Simon Grayson on their wishlist.

According to a report in the Sunderland Echo, Simon Grayson is keen on a move to the Stadium of Light.
Sunderland are searching for a new manager, following the departure of David Moyes.
Chief executive Martin Bain is now eager to put a new boss in charge, to ensure that the Black Cats do not get left behind in their preparations for the new season.

And Grayson is said to be on Sunderland’s wishlist.
Grayson has done an impressive job at Preston North End – taking the Lancashire side from League One and making them Championship play off contenders.

And although Grayson is said to be willing to remain with Preston, the opportunity of getting the job at Sunderland reportedly excites him.
Sunderland are yet to make an approach for Grayson, but could do so in the near future.
The Black Cats are planning to start interviewing for the vacant manager’s job this week.
