Leeds United’s current form in the Championship is little short of disasterous.

It has been reported that current Leeds head coach Christiansen is under pressure due to the team’s poor run of results. The West Yorkshire outfit haven’t won a league game since Boxing Day, and are losing pace in the race for the playoffs.

The Daily Mail has now claimed that former the Preston North End and Sunderland boss is interested in the Leeds managerial job. Grayson started his professional club football career at Leeds, and was previously the manager of the West Yorkshire outfit.

Leeds’ poor run of form has resulted in Christiansen coming increasingly under pressure. And although Grayson struggled during his last managerial spell at Sunderland (like successor Chris Coleman and several of his predeccessors), Grayson previously took Preston North End up to the Championship in 2015 via the play-offs.
Grayson was dismissed by Leeds, after four years in charge, in 2012, having taken the side up in an automatic slot to the Championship in 2010. He has, however, remained popular with the Leeds fans and could be in the frame if Leeds decided to make a managerial change.
