Italian reports claim Leeds are still pushing for Jerry Mbakogu.

Either the letter did not arrive or there has been a change of heart, because Italian transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio reports negotiations are ongoing.
Di Marzio’s latest report claims Leeds are still trying to sign the Nigerian striker.
The report states: “The issues blocking the deal could be resolved, and there could be significant movement forward this week. The next few days should be decisive for Mbakogu to move to Leeds.”

In recent days, Leeds’ chances of signing prolific duo Abel Hernandez and Matej Vydra have taken a big hit over their wage demands.
Mbajogu is a cheaper option, but there are doubts over whether he can make the leap from Serie B to the Championship.
Perhaps Leeds are getting a bit desperate to get a player in, and while Mbakogu would be another body through the door, he would arrive with everything to prove.
