Sheffield Wednesday striker Jordan Rhodes spent last season on loan with Norwich City, and helped the Canaries clinch the Championship title.

According to a report from the PinkUn, Sheffield Wednesday striker Jordan Rhodes is ‘desperate’ to secure a move to Norwich City this summer following his season-long loan spell at Carrow Road.
The Canaries are preparing for their Premier League return this summer, and Daniel Farke has already bolstered his striker options with a move for Josip Drmic, and it remains to be seen if there is a place in his top flight squad for Rhodes.
The Scotland international scored six league goals in 36 appearances for Norwich. And the PinkUn reports that Rhodes is ‘desperate’ to make the switch.
It certainly appears that Owls boss Steve Bruce is keen to move the 29-year-old off the club’s books, with The Sun on Sunday (23/6; page 60) reporting at the weekend that he wants Wednesday to lower their asking price to pave the way for a move for the forward.

But with the PinkUn reporting that he cost £10 million when he moved to Hillsborough, it would be a surprise if Wednesday were willing to listen to significantly low offers for the former Middlesbrough man even if he finds himself out of Bruce’s plans for the coming campaign.
However, with Rhodes now reportedly very keen to return to Carrow Road, it appears that Norwich making a fresh move could be a deal that suits all parties this summer.
