The Sheffield Wednesday striker has played under Kukësi boss Peter Pacult before.

Sheffield Wednesday striker Atdhe Nuhiu is wanted by FK Kukësi, according to Gazeta Metro.
The Albanian champions are managed by Peter Pacult, who was Nuhiu’s old boss at Rapid Wien.
The 28-year-old has entered the final six months of his contract at Wednesday, for whom he has started just twice this season.

And in a recent interview with the Times, he admitted his future at Hillsborough is uncertain. “What the future says, I cannot tell because my contract runs out in the summer, and if it is time for a change, it is time for a change, I don’t know,” said Nuhiu.
According to Gazeta Metro, Nuhiu would become the highest paid player at Kukësi, earning a salary which is described as ‘frightening’.
But Wednesday, who remain without a manager 11 days after Carlos Carvalhal’s departure, may wish to keep hold of Nuhiu for the time being, with forward trio Gary Hooper, Steven Fletcher and Fernando Forestieri all sidelined.

Nuhiu is Kosovo-Albanian but plays for the former nation at international level, despite growing up in Austria.
The six-foot-four front man moved to Sheffield Wednesday four-and-a-half-years ago after being released by Rapid Vienna.
He has also played for Wels, Austria Kärnten, SV Ried and Eskişehirspor.
