Sheffield Wednesday defender Jack Hunt is reportedly wanted by Bristol City in the summer transfer window.

Sheffield Wednesday will be paid £1.5 million as transfer fee by Bristol City for Jack Hunt, according to The Bristol Post.

It has been reported that City are posed to sign Hunt from Championship rivals Wednesday in the summer transfer window.

The report has claimed that the two clubs have agreed a fee of £1.5m regarding the transfer of the former Huddersfield Town and Crystal Palace full-back.

Good signing for Bristol City?

Hunt is a very good and experienced right-back who will be a good signing for City in the summer transfer window.

Lee Johnson’s side were in the running for the Championship playoffs for much of last season, and the Robins will be aiming to do the same during the 2018-19 campaign.

The 27-year-old did well during his time at Wednesday, who endured a disappointing 2017-18 Championship campaign.

Hunt made 28 starts in the Championship last season for the Owls, and featured in 34 league fixtures for Wednesday during the 2016-17 campaign.
