Sheffield Wednesday are reportedly interested in bringing Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Josh Onomah back to the club this summer.

According to a report from the Sheffield Star, Sheffield Wednesday are interested in signing Josh Onomah from Tottenham for a second time this summer.
Onomah spent last season on loan at Hillsborough, but struggled to make much of an impact. He made just 15 appearances in the Championship and failed to score a single goal.
Nevertheless, the Sheffield Star reports that the Owls have held talks with Spurs about signing the attacking midfielder again this summer. The report notes that Tottenham are unlikely to allow the 22-year-old to leave permanently on the cheap, but a loan move is not out of the question at this stage.
It is a big show of faith from Steve Bruce to look to work with Onomah for a third time. It was Jos Luhukay who brought him to Hillsborough last summer, but Bruce did sign him for Aston Villa during his time in the Midlands.

And if he does return to Wednesday, Onomah will be desperate to repay that faith. He has scored four goals and contributed six assists across the last two Championship campaigns. It is arguably a very underwhelming return for a player hoping to make the grade at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
And that form during those previous loan spells may perhaps mean that he will only have one more chance to prove himself to Mauricio Pochettino if he does end up returning to Yorkshire during this window.
