Sheffield Wednesday are said to be keen on Peterborough United forward Jack Marriott.

Marriott has hit 32 goals this term for Posh, which makes him the Football League’s top scorer.
The 23-year-old looks almost certain to leave Posh, if Steve Evans’ side fail to be promoted, and Wednesday are believed to be among the interested clubs.

The Owls have competition for Marriott’s signature in the shape of Leeds United and Nottingham Forest.
But there is hope that Jos Luhukay’s side could get a deal done in the summer transfer window.
Wednesday would have to find a way of paying Posh’s asking price for the forward, though.

Peterborough are said to want at least £5 million for Marriott, if they are to sell, which could prove problematic for Wednesday.
The Owls need a new striker, with Gary Hooper leading their scoring charts this season with 11 goals.
