According to The Star, Sheffield Wednesday are interested in signing Dominic Iorfa from Wolverhampton Wanderers on January transfer deadline day.

It has been reported that Championship club Wednesday are on the verge of securing the services of Iorfa from Premier League outfit Wolves.

The report has claimed that the 23-year-old defender will move to the Owls on a permanent contract from the Wanderers.

Good signing for Sheffield Wednesday?

Iorfa is a good defender who can operate as a central defender or as a right-back, and the Wolves man will be a smart signing for Wednesday.

The Owls do need a defender for the second half of the season, and given that the former England Under-21 international is only 23 years of age, he will be a good long-term signing for the Owls.
