Norwich City and Sheffield Wednesday are interested in David Turnbull after Celtic pulled out of the running, according to a report.

Celtic’s decision
The Scottish Sun has reported that Neil Lennon’s Celtic have decided not to pursue their interest in Turnbull after failing to agree on wages despite having reached a £3m agreement with Motherwell.
It has been reported that Celtic were willing to pay the 19-year-old a weekly salary of £12,000, with the teenage midfielder currently earning £600 per week as salary, but his agent was demanding £20,000 per week as wages.
The Scottish Sun has claimed that despite promoted Premier League club Norwich having had a bid accepted by Motherwell, Wednesday in the Championship in England may make a similar offer.

Good signing for Sheffield Wednesday?
Norwich’s reported interest in Turnbull shows just how good the midfielder is and how talented the Scotland Under-21 international is, and there is no doubt that the teenager would be a very good long-term signing for Wednesday.
