Arsenal are said to be ‘keeping tabs’ on Chapman, who’s on loan at Sheffield United until May.

Sheffield United’s on-loan Middlesbrough winger Harry Chapman features on Arsenal’s radar, according to the Daily Mirror.
Chapman is yet to start for Sheffield United, with whom he is due to remain until May, however, the 18-year-old stepped off the bench to score the winner in last month’s encounter with Bristol Rovers.
The Hartlepool native, who can operate on either flank, previously impressed for Boro in the Uefa Youth League and spent a short time at United’s South Yorkshire rivals Barnsley.

Arsenal are said to have scouted Chapman while he was on international duty with England’s Under-20s, alongside Gunners youngster Ainsley Maitland-Niles.
Arsene Wenger’s side have acquired a number of young British talents in recent years, with Aaron Ramsey, Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain among the most notable.

The earliest point at which Arsenal could sign Chapman is likely to be 2 January, in which case Middlesbrough would first have to negotiate the player’s release from Sheffield United.
The Blades are currently flying in League One and will perhaps want to keep Chapman as part of their promotion push.
