Celtic winger Scott Sinclair is reportedly wanted by Sheffield United.

According to The Scottish Sun, Celtic winger Scott Sinclair is wanted by Sheffield United in a £2million deal, with Chris Wilder also wanting Paddy McNair.
The Blades are yet to really get going in the transfer market, with some concerns about Wilder’s future, but they should start making moves soon.
It’s now believed that Sinclair is wanted in a £2million deal, looking to prise the winger away from his £25,000-a-week contract at Parkhead (The Scottish Sun).
Additionally, Wilder allegedly wants Middlesbrough midfielder McNair too, just a year since Boro paid £5million to sign him from Sunderland.
Sinclair has hit 60 goals in 153 games since signing for Celtic in 2016, but with a year left on his deal, the Bhoys may offload the 30-year-old.
Sheffield United being interested is a surprise though, as Wilder mostly plays a 3-4-1-2 system with a number 10 behind two strikers, meaning he doesn’t play with traditional wingers, so it’s hard to see where Sinclair fits in.

As for McNair, that one is a little more obvious, as he can play at centre back or in holding midfield, much like important Blades man Chris Basham.
McNair would figure to be competition for Basham in both positions, and it’s no shock that Wilder loves his versatility given the way his system works.
