The Blades are currently going through something of a sticky patch right now having picked up just one point from the last four Championship games, but remain in pursuit of a play-off place.
Chris Wilder should be backed with new signings during the January transfer window, and he appears to be keen on bringing in another striker despite Leon Clarke’s sensational form.

Wilson, 22, burst onto the scene in 2014, scoring twice on his first Premier League start for United against Hull City, and he was tipped for stardom off the back of that performance.
The striker has struggled since then though, with injuries and hit-and-miss loan spells contributing to his poor fortune, and he has been working his way back to fitness with the Manchester United Under-23’s.
A loan move looks inevitable for Wilson in January, and Sheffield United are putting themselves in the race, in the hope of adding major firepower to Wilder’s options.
It’s just two months since The Sun reported that Leeds United are hoping to land Wilson on loan, but with Sheffield United now in the race, a Yorkshire battle appears to be on the cards.
