Sheffield United are reportedly set to sign Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Oliver Norwood.

According to Sky Sports, Sheffield United are set to sign Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Oliver Norwood, initially on loan before completing a £2millon January move.
The Blades secured the signatures of Dean Henderson, John Egan, Kean Bryan, Ben Woodburn and David McGoldrick over the summer, and aren’t slowing down their recruitment drive even after the summer transfer window closed on Thursday.
With midfielder Lee Evans offloaded to Wigan Athletic, a replacement has been on the radar for Chris Wilder, and a new man appears to be heading to Bramall Lane.
Sky Sports report that Sheffield United have now agreed a £2million deal with Brighton and Hove Albion for midfielder Oliver Norwood, with a loan deal set to go through.
It’s claimed that Norwood will join on loan on Monday, and his move to Bramall Lane will become permanent for £2million once the January transfer window opens.
Norwood, 27, spent last season on loan with Fulham as they won promotion to the Premier League, but the Cottagers didn’t pursue him permanently, and Brighton are ready to let him go.

Formerly of Manchester United, Huddersfield Town and Reading, Norwood is a Northern Ireland international with 53 caps to his name, and adds real quality to the United midfield.
A host of other Championship clubs were linked with Norwood, but he is all set for a move to South Yorkshire in what Wilder will feel is a coup.
