Sheffield United are likely to send Conor Hourihane, Morgan Gibbs-White, Ben Davies and Robin Olsen back to their parent clubs once their loan transfers expire, as per The Star.
The Blades agreed season-long deals with Aston Villa, Wolves, Liverpool and Roma for the quartet respectively during the summer market.
But neither have seemingly done enough under Slavisa Jokanovic to convince the Bramall Lane hierarchy to now seek permanent moves.

Hourihane has only started two of his seven Championship outings and has not featured in Sheffield United’s last four games. He has also failed to score, and offered his only assists in September’s 3-1 win against early relegation-threatened Hull City.
Jokanovic has relied more heavily on Gibbs-White, Davies and Olsen than Hourihane since their arrivals in South Yorkshire. With the trio respectively starting 11 of 11, 10 of 10 and 11 of 11 of their appearances so far.
Sheffield United are weighing up the long-term futures of a raft of their players, and those on loan transfers.
Captain Billy Sharp, Chris Basham, Lys Mousset, David McGoldrick and Luke Freeman are in the final eight-months of their contracts. And the Blades must decide whether to cash in.
Jokanovic wants Sheffield United to sign two wingers and a holding midfielder in January. But with four players on loan and a limit of five in a matchday squad, may struggle to sign all three. As Jokanovic does not want the headache of EFL rules affecting team selection.

No surprise Sheffield United are against permanent Hourihane transfer
Sheffield United could try and terminate Hourihane’s loan early to free a spot for Jokanovic to seal two temporary transfers.
It is not surprising the Blades are currently against pursuing a permanent transfer for Aston Villa’s £30k-a-week midfielder.
Jokanovic has been happy to overlook the 30-year-old in the Bramall Lane outfit’s last four games, since hauling Hourihane off 38-minutes into their 2-1 defeat at home to Millwall.
Hourihane struggled to get going against the south-east London side, like much of his Sheffield United loan transfer so far. So, the writing may already be on the walls.
