Sheffield United are interested in signing Luke Murphy from Leeds United before the end of the summer transfer window, according to The Yorkshire Evening Post.
It has been reported that League One outfit United are among a number of clubs who are interested in securing the services of the 26-year-old midfielder.
Murphy has been on the books of Leeds since the summer of 2013 when he joined from Crewe Alexandra.

The midfielder’s current contract with the West Yorkshire outfit runs until June 2019, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.
The Englishman has yet to make an appearance in the Championship this season and is not guaranteed a place in the Leeds starting lineup.

Murphy featured in 35 Championship games last season, while during the 2014-15 campaign, the midfielder played in 30 league matches for the Whites.
Leeds have won their last two competitive matches and are unbeaten in their last three, and are aiming to finish in the top six of the Championship this season.
United have lost their last two games in League One and are struggling at the moment.
