According to Yorkshire Live, Sheffield United remain in talks with Arsenal over a deal to sign striker Folarin Balogun.
The Daily Mail reported last week that the Blades had failed with a bid of just £3million, with Arsenal seeking a whopping £15million.
That was mostly made up by bonuses, but the Blades were so far away that some wondered whether the gap in valuations could be bridged.
Now though, it’s stated that the Blades are still in talks with Arsenal about a deal, and are hopeful that they will get Balogun signed up.
The 19-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season, meaning he can sign a pre-contract agreement with a non-English side come January.
Arsenal risk losing him for next to nothing, and Sheffield United will be hoping to take advantage of that situation by tempting Arsenal into selling now.

Balogun hit 10 goals and four assists in 15 Premier League 2 games last season, whilst his record for the Arsenal Under-18’s stands at 38 goals and eight assists in just 41 games.
The New York-born attacker looks to have huge potential for the future, and with Sheffield United desperately seeking more goals, they may now attempt to push through a deal for Balogun.
